In 1979, while watching
the simultaneous sunset and sunrise in the town of Bergen
in Norway, the idea of providing bundled services required
in electronic manufacturing in India germinated in the
mind of a young visionary. This vision was given professional
reality when Bergen Associates Pvt.
Ltd. was formed in 1983 by a group of like-minded
technocrats. Initially set up as a conduit for the supply
of European machinery to the Indian electronic industry,
the company introduced into the Indian market international
quality and excellence in the field of manufacturing,
assembly and testing of Printed Circuit Boards.
A
growing need in the industry led to a rapid expansion
of the initial vision and the transformation of the
flagship company into the progressive and competent
Bergen Group of Companies.
This group now encompasses the following companies,
which provides a complete solution to the electronics
industry for their capital equipment and PCB needs.
